I am a Ph.D. drop out. I believe in education, higher education. When I was a grad student at an engineering school in Seattle, a scholarship paid my tuition and I received some stipend but it was not enough. I was an adult student with a mortgage, a child, and all other responsibilities and expenses. So I worked 20 to 30 hours per week, in addition to being a full-time Ph.D. student. It was an insane 7 years of my life. Why did I stress and nearly kill myself? Because I believed and still believe in debt free. “The borrower is slave to the lender.” It was tough years but I am so glad I borrowed ZERO money, not because I dropped out school but I have no student loan to pay back. I would have said the same thing even I completed the degree.
I want you to go to school without a student loan because YOU CAN! This blog is about demystifying a belief such as “I can’t afford college.” or “I need to apply for a student loan to go to college.” I will teach you how to plan and choose a right college for you, how to save college funding for your children, what to do and not to do during high school or college years, how to enjoy and prosper at college, how to find a job while in college, a graduate school is right and necessary for you or not, and any questions about higher education you might have. I will inform you and help you what you can do to go to college with Zero Debt.
